Add excess standard hydrochloric acid solution to serum (plasma). Bicarbonate in the sample is neutralized to release carbon dioxide. The residual hydrochloric acid is then titrated with standard sodium hydroxide solution, based on which the bicarbonate content (i.e., carbon dioxide combining power) in serum (plasma) can be calculated. Storage: This product can be stored at 4°C/RT for 6 months. Please refer to the manual for the specific storage condition of the components.
